The Grossest FDA Approved Weight Loss Invention That Sucks

Another strange device enters the marketguaranteeing you will lose weight more naturally.

Amazingly the Food and Drug Administration approved it for anyone 22 years and older who has struggled to lose weight. After reading the various write ups and seeing the videos I sincerely question the validity of this apparatus.

You see this weight loss product is designed to actually suck food right out of your stomach after each meal. Your stomach contents are pumped via a tube through a port in your abdominal wall to a hand held machine.  Then when the machine reservoir is filled with your digested bits and pieces of your breakfast, lunch and dinner you simply just dump the contents of the container in the toilet.

Can you say… “eww”?

What’s bizarre is all the time required to actually pump your own stomach each and every meal. After you eat you need to wait at least 30 minutes to up an hour to use the device and it can take up to 15 minutes to drain the contents of your stomach. Over a year’s time the patients who tested this approach to losing weight only lost an average of 12.1 percent of their body weight.

Seems a bit of a nuisance to me. Almost an hour of your day just pumping your stomach for the hopes of losing just over 10% of your weight. And to have a tube surgically implanted from your stomach to a port in your abdomen just doesn’t sound pleasant. Oh and the risks involved using this device include infection, bleeding, vomiting, nausea and sores on the inside of the stomach.

Nope, not something I recommend you even consider.

There’s a better way!

If you truly desire to be thinner, healthier and have more energy but you’re not into those confusing diet programs, ports on your body for equipment to attach to, or exercise routines only a gymnast can do may I suggest the gastric sleeve procedure. There’s no tubes involved, no stomach pumping and no disposing of your stomach contents in the toilet later. And with the gastric sleeve our over 10,000 patients have lost on average 50-70% of their body weight.

The gastric sleeve also known as the vertical sleeve gastrectomy is a surgical procedure where a portion of your stomach is removed. And with a smaller stomach you won’t feel the need to consume the quantity of foods you once did. Your weight will drop off and you’ll feel healthier.

You’ll be free to play tennis, ride bicycles, go dancing, swim or even hang glide if you so choose. Yep, free to be yourself and stay active. Not something you can easily do with a port and hoses in your stomach.
